Description
Composition for Flugone Products: Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Paracetamol/Acetaminophen + Phenylephrine.
Chlorpheniramine is an anti-allergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.
Dosage: Adults and children over 12 years is 1-2 capsules every six hours, not more than 6 capsules should be taken in 24 hours.
Safe to use in pregnancy and when breastfeeding, however consult your health care provider before use.
