OptiGUT-D utilises Saccharomyces boulardii, a friendly yeast and one of the most extensively researched strains available. Sacchromyces boulardii has been combined with 3 carefully selected strains of bacteria: Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Streptococcus thermophilus, creating a unique and targeted microbiotic blend. The specially selected bacteria we use have been proven to not only be bile and gastric acid resistant, but to also colonise the microbiome after swallowing.
